HEY! I just realized I only get a certain amount of "Characters" for my review! WTF?
LOL...her beauty came out best in dim lighting...yeah...I think that speaks volumes. My beauty comes out better on the "night vision" setting of the video camera!
So...he likes to draw her in dim light, when she doesn't even know he's drawing her? Uh...what else, exactly DOESN'T she know?
All in all though, the scenes you've described that he likes to paint are well-written. I like how you've almost made a painting of them in my mind. Great descriptions!
Does she actually have 6 freckles across her nose? I think she has more...or have you actually counted?
Way to ruin her book! You couldn't have held off a few more seconds and found some paper? What if you were tied up in a dungeon, and your fingers started itching? What then, huh?

I loved how the drawing aspect was such an integral part of the plot, and you never forgot about it. I don't know much about Dean, but I felt that you did a great job with him. And Hermione as well. I find that some of the best stories are the ones that don't exactly follow canon, but you could swear they could.

wow. wow, wow, wow. this fic was truly amazing - i never read dean fics, and i only read it because i got a author alert, but WOW, i'm truly glad i did. i don't even LIKE art, and yet this fic was beautiful. you did what dean does but with WORDS. you created a beautifully written story - i don't even know how to describe how wonderful it was to read this! all i can say is, have you seen the short film cashback (with sean biggerstaff, aka oliver wood?) if not, please do! this reminded of me this, if only because he's an artist, and they say women love artists because they truly appreciate their beauty...
