As a side note... tanuki are not raccoons. They're a type of canid referred to in English as a "raccoon dog" - because they have the same type of colouration as a raccoon, but they're distantly related to wolves and foxes (different genus, same family).

Great story, I love the themes behind it! Inuyasha's going to be furious. I really hope she's able to stand up to the council and change their minds on having children. I also can't wait to see Kouga get rejected (it may sound cruel, but I've never liked him as a character). Keep up the good work!

Uh-oh. Inuyasha is not going to like this when he finds out about what the Youkai Court have planned for Kagome. I hope Kagome lets them know exactly how she feels. At the end of this chapter, she looked like she was going to blow a gasket. It's not that you can blame her. I'd be upset too if someone decided that I couldn't have kids with the person I'm chosen to be with. No one has the right to do that, taiyoukai, youkai, hanyou or human. Kagome better let these bigots have it. Can't wait. ^_^

Man oh man oh man! I was sitting on the edge of my chair the entire chapter..and then, I could almost cry. Because...there was nothing else to read. No other chapter!! Gah :) Excellent story. Kagome should let loose all her inner fire on them because what is happening is ridiculous. Considering all of those youkai have the power to kill her, and she has the power to kill them, they take a cowards way out and bind her. Very unfair if you ask me. Can't wait to read the next chapter...hopefully sooner than later?
