I so enjoyed this deliciously crafted story that it feels nigh criminal to come in at the end of it to voice my praise. You perfectly exposed the brotherly love here, that no matter the odds faith in each other remained solid (a reminder Kripke might want to heed...!) that enables Sam to survive his torturous experience because of his belief in Dean. So yep I simpley adored it totally from start to finish, my only negative feeling is that I wasn't able to tell you from the first episode and onwards till now.

WOW - Awesome story (sorry to have missed your last few updates) but so glad to catch up now, and what a treat (grins)
Perfectly written, I love Deans guilt and Bobby watching over them. Dean taking Sam back to the cafe at the end was a wonderful touch and pulled the story together well.
Looking forward to reading more from you!

Wow, what a great and immensely suspenseful story! I read the whole story in one go and totally ruined my finger nails while I suffered through the ordeal with both Sammy and Dean.

And the underlying story was also very creative, with the girl's twin sister looking for revenge on Dean. BTW, losing their twin sister was a really heavy topic for me, being a twin myself. I'm afraid losing her would send me over the edge as well, so I can clearly feel for the poor girl and her family here.

I don't mean to be nitpicking but one thing I noticed was that you kept changing the father's name from Howard to Harold and it's diminuitive Harry quite a lot throughout the fic.

Anyway, thanks for another wonderful (whumpy) fic I thoroughly enjoyed reading! See you next time around.

Great ending. Loved the bit in the diner when Sam reclaims his independence:

“I got it,” the younger man muttered as he yanked his arm away from the reassuring grip and gimped heavily across the dining room to take a booth near the counter.

And I'm really pleased we got to see Mabel again. She was so sweet to Dean when Sam was missing.

Nice wrap up to a wonderful story. Thankyou so much for sharing it with us darling.

Kind regards,

Fab, Sam almost totally recovered and anxious to get out of the less than wonderful motel room! And just loved how Dean's eyes lingered on the page of Guns and Ammo with the scantily clad girl - typical, no wonder he was so engrossed!
Awesome that Dean went back to the coffee shop, letting Mabel know that Sam was okay and for him to sample her special coffee. A really good ending for this fic.

Yay, Sam is recovering and with Bobby's insistence, Dean eventually talked to his little brother. Not surprised Sam didn't blame Dean at all, it was not his fault at all, and at least the elder Winchester finally believed that.
And for Bobby to be happy to hit the road, he must be convinced that Sam is going to be okay, and Dean too!
