I really liked. Really managed to capture the characters and you handled the situation very well the three characters. It was a very cute little detail kirin. In-Ou no doubt I was curious but was concerned about his Taiho.

Yay, Rakushun <3 he's one of my favorites. Let's see... what I like about this one is that while it's pretty light and fluffy, it has darker tones. Like how Rakushun is broke, poor guy... and Youko admitting to herself that she's selfish. (Not that it's a particularly bad thing here, but still)

My favorite moment was when Youko said "Their loss." ^^

Enki being adorable again :) Is he your favorite character? He appears in every one of these!
Poor Youko and Keiki. Their relationship is so frustrating, I think you got that feeling in here really well. So much yummy tension! A writer's/reader's favorite!

The only thing I can really say for this one is that I like the way you write the characters. The things they do are so totally *them* in this chapter that it makes me giggle. I mean, put Enki, Enou, Keiki and Youko in a room together, and not only will something hilarious probably happen, it's practically unstoppable. X)

This one's more... sweet and sad. Now with this one, I *love* the ending. It was like the end of a haiku, where you suddenly turn your point upside down or change direction, and yet it ties the whole thing together. Jokaku really did die for Kei Taiho, didn't she? She died so that he wouldn't get the shitsudou because she'd strayed... Sacrifice is such a powerful and sad idea, and it's a really important theme in 12k. So I guess I'm saying I like it. :) Your (or Shouryuu's) point about fairness is a really good one too. Things really *aren't* fair, I agree, I agree. Pretty much *nothing* that happens in 12k is fair, but that doesn't change anything. (Although that depends on your point of view, doesn't it?)

Since I just got such a lovely review from you, I'm gonna go through and leave my thoughts here on each of the chapters. ^_^

Ch.1 = Cute! Enki somehow manages to be adorable and hilarious at the same time. I like how you write his character.
Something I thought could be better. Um... I thought the last sentence should feel more... final, or fit more with what comes before it. (I like what it means as an ending a lot, but it's a little awkwardly worded... does that make sense?)
You're very good at the dialogue (which is something I struggle with, so I'm very impressed!). I liked the way you started the story, too. The first sentence caught my attention; it sounded like you were going to talk about serious political stuff, and then you went into Keiou's feelings and I was like, "Oh". ^^
Onward, to the next chapter! XD
