This was just so good, so damn good I can't even comprehend it all by reading it once, and Orochimaru is such a diabolical mastermind. I had no idea the baby was poisoned, and when I read it, my jaw just hit the ground. You really capture the teetering sanity and really, this is just so well-written for a short piece which I rarely take likings to.

Anyway, great work! I really like dark stories especially if they feature Sasuke because it kinda gives you a look why he could be doing the things he does.

I liked this. I liked this a lot. :) I have a thing for stories where Oro is being preternaturally cruel and soulless, and you've just fed that addiction.

"When Sasuke took his brother’s life, ended his existence, he would inevitably shatter, and Orochimaru would be there to grind the shards into dust." This last line was very good, and if the manga goes the way I think it's going to go, Orochimaru will still be there at the end of all things, to grind what's left of the shreds of Sasuke's sanity into dust.

That was purty good :) Lol. One thing I think you could have done to make it a bit better would be to metion the idea you had at the beginning woven into the ending as well. Like, mentioning Orochimaru as the devil once again or something like that.

Glad you've posted again--I've lost a lot of interest in a lot of things lately and I might start exploring the fanfiction again...lol. :)

The fact that Sasuke wouldn't take the infants life made me think a little better of him. But the fact that Orochimaru did that in the first place is just sick! Yeah and we all know that this was just the first step to Sasuke's soon to be mental break down. It was great reading another of your stories I was begining to worry that you had stoped.
