Yay! I finished this story, and there's already a new one waiting! I'm happy you did stop this one with the end of the shakedown and didn't drag it through an entire Replicator war... That's a story I would love to read, but it would be off-topic and I'd never be able to find and re-read it later! :) Great writing! Now, on to "The Foundling"!

Very good writing! You got that scene (which we knew was coming from Talon, but who'd've guessed it'd come from McKay?!) written without making it awkward, long, or unnecessarily tear-jerking. So, do we get to kick Replicator butt now? :)
