Finally finally finally. I finally read to the end of Luftballons. And I loved it.

The epilogue is perfect, I think, with the first scene being light enough to give a sense of hope and the last scene dark and edgy enough to leave you with chills.

Now on to read the next story I go~

I can't believe it's over! It was so good, I loved Malik, she's awesome. And Zimmy's alive! Yay! Can't wait for the sequel.

I've been working on an assignment all morning, and my one reward was to get to read this story. And it was a concluding chapter. Can't wait for the next story in the saga.

Now that it's all over, I have to say that this fanfic is much improved from "Nowhere Man." The pacing is better and the characters are more IC. And it feels more epic than any of your other fics, what with Irk getting decimated and all (not that you have to destroy a civilization in every story). And I don't feel like I need a break; I can't wait for the sequal. I wonder what use Zurg has for Zim. Obviously he didn't save him out of the goodness of his heart.

Although I didn't expect XR to go with Kila, I'm glad he is because a) it would be a shame to seperate those two and b) it'll be interesting to see what he thinks of Earth.

I can’t help but be sad that this fic is over, but I gotta say, it’s overshadowed by my excitement for the next story. ^^

You know, if you wouldn’t have said anything, I probably wouldn’t have picked up on the fact that inserting XR in the scene was a last-minute thing. The one thing I will say is that the dialogue didn’t seem as developed as scenes we’ve seen from you in the past, especially the more serious ones, but I don’t know, I kinda like that casual tone. X3 It’s a nice way to end the story, as well…

And I really liked the tone of the second scene. It was dark without being overbearing and left us wanting more without being cliffhangery. *Perfect* way to end.

A fantastic conclusion to the story. The Irken Empire is destroyed (mostly?), but the threats to the heroes of our story largely live on. The 'horrors of war' scene was very well-done as well; you did very well to leave it to the reader's imagination rather than descend into purple prose. Malik's character development arc has been great; thanks to your ability to get into the robots' point of view, she's one of the best OCs I've seen in fanfiction, and Kila's no slouch either. I'll be eager to see Dib, Gaz, and the main Lilo and Stitch cast take a larger role in the next story.

Oh my GOD, I know what's gonna happen next and it fills me with fear and anticipation. Poor, poor Zim...:(

Wow. This was such a powerful chapter. If I had actually KNOWN about the Irkens from the show itself rather than from just BS, I probably would've cried.

So, Lilo and Stitch might actively come into the series now? I've never even seen the movie, but I'd like to see them in the story.

Wow. I'm blown away just like Irk! I feel so sorry for the Irkens. But I don't believe for one second that Zim and Zurg are dead. Fiction rule #67: If a body isn't shown, always assume the character is alive.

I love how you're setting it up to take the story back to Earth. Then we can finally get to Lilo, Stitch and Dib! I guess Lilo will be, what, nine years old now? I wonder if Star Command will follow Malik to Earth. If Zim finds out where Malik went I know he'll follow her. And I suppose Zurg will just try to take over the Federation (or is it Alliance? I can't remember). But first he'll have to build a new suit.

OH crap, I totally forgot.

The *only thing* that disappointed me about this chapter was the fact that Booster wasn't there. It just felt like this was such a huge event, not to have Booster there almost felt like something was missing.

...Unless I'm forgetting something and there was a reason he couldn't be there...

Everything in this chapter is so beautifully smooth; I really liked how you handled the destruction of Irk, emotionally rather than visually – made for a powerful read.

Lol, I like how Buzz reacts to Zurg’s ‘demise.’ So him. XD

And I really, really like the symbolism of the medallion, everybody looking at their reflections – it really connects all the main characters in a very unique way and I like it.

And it seems to me you’ve set up the Earth plotline really well; the scene with Kila intrigues me, and I’m interested to see what kind of role MALIK is going to play.

But AUGH I couldn’t find the ABL reference! D: I FAIL!
Is it the detached antennae? That’s the only thing I could think of…

Tragedy...

A past that can't be forgotten and filled with sorrow. Who knows what they were made for anymore? Kila took everything she loved and watched it burn, MALIK's lost all sense of purpose and the person who she obviously was infatuated with, half of the Irken dynamic Tallest duo is dead and Zim is...GONE.

The only thing left to do now...is pick up the pieces and try to move on. The pain won't go away...but they'll simply have to work through it. This was truly a beautifully written chapter. I almost-heck almost nothing, I DID cry a little reading it.

Once again...you're an amazing writer.

You can't end it now!! This is one of my favorite story lines ont he whole site, this isn't the end, we don't know what happens to everyone yet! Weren't Buzz and the others going to Irk too? Alot of things haven't been said yet. This chapter was amazing, I loved when Zim stood up to Zurg.

Wow – this chapter was so intense, and so beautifully written, I felt like I was watching a movie. Especially near the end there.

And just when I started really hating Zim you’ve gone and once again made me feel sorry for him and even want to cheer him on. Absolutely amazing.

The dialogue, the action – everything had such great motion to it.

I’m glad we got to see XR and Kila again, and I’m anxious to find out what happens next.
