I like the difference mentioned between Near and Next, it helps establish that they are two characters, and not the same person with different looks.

I wonder if Mello and L's case are gonna play a role in the story...wait, Near's sick, and he's beautiful, and Chester is...Uh-oh...

I really like this story! It's filled with so much drama, but that's kinda the point, right? Anyway, I can't wait to see what happens next, so update soon!

This... Oh my god. I do hope you plan on continuing, and soon. It's funny and overly-dramatic, which is awesome for the "soap-opera" bit you're going for. Definitely keep going with this. The cadence is interesting, but it's very like the typical television drama sort, where things happen and then afterwards you go "...Wait... What? He slept with WHO? He wasn't really DEAD? His brother does WHAT for a living??"

You do Near very well, especially for the OOC-ness. It's just subtle enough so it's still Near yet just dramatic enough to be completely and utterly hilarious.

Not to mention, confused and flustered Mello with confused and overzealous Matt is an excellent combination for romantic comedy fanfiction.


Needless to say, this fic has made me roflmao so very much. I thank you for providing a wonderful waste of my time. ^^

Great chapter, I can't wait to see what kind of antics Next brings into the story.

This was a cute chapter, I like the idea of near dressed up...normal and laughing. Chester really brings a lot out of Near that we've never seen before.

Classic Mello and Matt, they can't seem to keep away from more than a few minutes at a time...I wish there had been more Otto, but I guess he wouldn't have really fit in anywhere.

I'm still haven't quite determined if I like Chester or not, but at he certainly propells the story.

Great chapter, I can't wait to see the next one!
