Wow...you know it's rare to come across a real friendship fic on here, but whenever you do, it turns out to be a real gem. Make you wish more people would read them, what with the over-saturation of romance in this fandom. Mabye if more people read them, they'd realize that, if done right, a good friendship fic can be even more satisfying than a romance one. But at any rate a job well done, Kudos!

It's an interesting perspective on both Neku's and Beat's respective lives after the game. I like how Neku's introverted nature allows Beat to mellow out a bit in this story, and I enjoyed the more-or-less quiet, contemplative moment between the two. I think you captured their friendship quite nicely.

That's nice. Beat-kun was probably one of my favorite characters in TWEWY. I think I had a crush on him. Eh heh heh heh...

That was really neat, how you managed to nail the casual but important relationship between Beat and Neku. You don't see many fics that talk about the two of them.

I know nothing of Neku's past (aside from a vague mention of "past traumas" in the reports) but the foster home angle sounds viable.
