Oh WOW! Just when you think they're somewhat in the clear. ...I completely forgot about Carter's dad. Blair and Chuck are going to have to set him straight. The part with Chuck warming Blair was so touching and Blair telling them to leave her at the beginning- that was heart wrenching. I love this story and I can't say that enough. This was great and I can't wait until the next chapter!

Wow...*breathes*...that was intense. I-I was not expecting that. Heh. I mean, for some reason after it began I realized this chapter would be about them reuniting, but I did not sense the labor happening. It was nowhere near my mind. I was just glad you didn't drift off to other characters. I so desperately wanted to know what happened here. Heh. Well, this was lovely. *happy noddage* It will be interesting in years to come when the child is told of where and how it was born. Heheh. I'm glad Blair is coming to though, and now I realize the whole 'tea' thing was in her mind...as was Carter. OMG. Ok, so I know it's a CB story...and I must've forgotten it was near the end, but for some bazaar reason I thought Chuck was going to be executed! lol *now finds it ridiculous* I mean, nearly ever story...whether it be movie, fic or otherwise, unless it's bent on tragedy or the character is a villain, the execution is NEVER gone through with. *sighs and shakes head at self* I cannot imagine, though, why people would not be reviewing this story. I mean, you say this story really needs its reviewers, but...ah whatever, I will continue on. *smiles brightly* Fantastic chapter. I really love how you put it all together. The first scene confused me a bit I have to admit. I wasn't sure if they were on a ship or on a pier, and then suddenly Blair and Dan had jumped overboard, so I figured they MUST'VE been on a ship, and then...well the part about Carter 'rescuing' Blair was pretty incredible, I thought. Very well written, and very interesting to get lost in. *happy noddage* Then, there was the sudden tea thing? *sigh* I don't understand. But Nate's sudden need to know why Chuck had come back was definitely intriguing. I still can't believe how heartless and war-driven he is! I mean, he shot at Blair and authorized Vanessa's execution himself! I would be afraid to be one of his lovers...*shudders*...*would never attempt it, if possible* I do hope the next chapter focuses on CB. It is GREAT how Chuck only really felt the reason to live was for Blair, and was willing to be executed-even desired it-when the loss of her seemed just about the most sure thing in the world. *sigh* Beautiful though. And how he rose to escape from the execution once Dan charged in and informed him she was waiting for him! Aww! *too excited for her own good* *swoon* I really hope we get to see the CB reunion in the next chapter, or very soon at least. I can't wait for it! *squeal* You write this SO perfectly, really. *nods* I shall continue on! D

Wow. Great chapter! Baby boy Bass is here and under the most extreme circumstances. I have a question about the last chapter, Was Chuck giving up when he was about to be executed, was he resigned to his fate and ready to die? Did he know that he was going to be saved, he seemed so resiged and calm about dying. I loved this chapter, I can see how it's been in your head for a while.
