Open oven; insert head. Again, and for completely different reasons. It's a great leap for Neji to know the little signs, but it seems that you're letting guyish cluelessness win. Again. It's kinda funny for Naruto and TenTen to be close like that, but it's helping the story along in hilariously unexpected ways, so I won't complain too much. I'm also interested in seeing how you intend to FIX this, although I know most of the standard techniques at your disposal and the story is following the basic Shakespearean formula (see chick-flick for details). Even if you do, though, I haven't minded thus far, so here's to another fun chapter.

"Open oven; insert head" is the best way for me to describe Neji's end-of-chapter blunder. Once again, you have made excellent use of one of the most classic gags of all things shojo, but this rendering was quite well-done. This theory on TenTen's home life and history is definitely a new one for me, but I would like to point out that she's Chinese. But you pretty much made up for that with the growing feelings Neji still has no idea he has, and the line "Neji thought his eyes were going to fall out of his head." It's one thing to have the Hyuuga prodigy confused and clueless. It's another thing entirely to do it well, so props for that.

LOLOLOLOL, OMG LOL. If I had not been in my school's library, I would have been as close to dying of laughter as Neji was to crying. The plot idea itself is not all that original (no offense), but the quality of the writing, the depth of it in terms of Neji, and the humor with just about every line on the page are making for a most amusing chapter one. You had Neji doing some VERY OOC things while perfectly justifying it and keeping the basic integrity of the character intact beautifully. I look forward to reading the rest of the chapters, and thank you for using Spellcheck.
