2009-05-09 . chapter 17
Yay! First review spottie! \^o^/ I'm finally done anticipating... for now. I'm sure you've got more cards up your sleeve to play us with.

Although I was game for **-kickin', I love the twist you put to the defeat of Tenkou. I didn't think that the lizard--er, Seiryuu would actually be useful. Well, now that I think about it, I can't see it going away, because this was mainly character development for Tetsuya. So, is Tenkou gonna be sealed in the scroll this time? Sweet, it must be cool holed up in there and getting paper cuts all the time. xD I love the ending too. You were able to explain true lvoe MiTama style without going overboard--which is, I guess, saying something. ^_^

Well, I gotta leave the computer, so I'll definitely say thanks for an awesome fic and good luck with your writing endeavors! *vanishes in a puff of smoke; coughs*

2009-05-02 . chapter 16
OMG! This is my favorite chapter yet! I think it's the best of every chapter combined into one--the perfect setup for the perfect ending!

Well, let's break the praise down... *cheers* Renhou got pwned bigtime! By the person who deserved to pwn him! xD I gotta love Keisuke's... vivid description of Tenkou, as well as the Power Rangers reference. I loved Yellow PR myself in childhood... *ahem* Back to the topic now.

The baseball bit was awesome too! I just couldn't help but scream "COOL!" when I read it, and I seemed to enjoy it for the first time in my life (not counting the baseball games on our Wii). I didn't expect that to be the skill that the chapter title was referring to, but now that I think about it, it's perfect. \^o^/ And although the guy was a jerk, it was great to see Renhou distraught over Miisu's "sacrifice". He was... passive when it happened the first time. xD

Now, for Tetsuya's section... last of the Four Kings, huh? Well, I guess we didn't need Yosui after all. The story doesn't really demand his presence, it's already overflowing with all the character development it needs, for one of the people who need it most. :3 I'm glad Tetsuya brought up the whole "Yui doesn't love me now, but maybe she will" thing. It sort of brings into light everything that the readers had to find out by reading between the lines. A good slap in the face. ^^

Now, for the last and most climactic bit of the chapter: OMG. I can't wait to read the final(?) chapter. Either Taiitsukun brought Taka to the other world to seal the deal, or Tenkou brought him for his evil means. Either way, I hope I'm correct in assuming that the baseball incident "freed" the memory stones and brought them to Taka, because that means DISCO! x3 Sorry, I couldn't resist. Anyway, I'd really love to see him pwn Tenkou once and for all! *fangirl squee*

"Keep reading." *imagines the scene in anime format* OMG, that would be epic. :)

Good luck with the next chapter! (This chapter was brought to you by EPIC WIN! ^_^ Again, I couldn't resist saying that.)

w00t! ^_^ I was just waiting for the update a couple of days ago... and I know I'm definitely the first review, because I was just lounging around in front of my computer when I got an update email. :D

I'm really happy that I got to see one of the best fight scenes in the OVA right here (though it was actually Taka's heroic dive that caught me... LOLz fangirl moment!), 'cause now that I think about it, it's not a scene I can see going away (I'm talking to you, Tasuki). And wow, I really do wish Keisuke and Miisu got together... she might have been a pain in the **, but it just works (which is why Mira-chan is pairing them in her fic xD). LOLz it's something like the "mad scientist's beautiful daughter" trope, only a bit better 'cause Miisu is one sadistic chick!

Okay, okay, enough fawning over the pairing... *ahem* I absolutely cannot wait for next Saturday, 'cause there are actually more people to choose from and guess than it seems at the first read-through, and I'm really looking forward to the result. *imagines that it was actually Renhou who got stabbed... by Tetsuya!* xD Kidding here.

Good luck and happy writing! Mira-chan can't wait! ^_^

2009-04-17 . chapter 14
Yay! I thought I'd have to stay up late for this one! ^_^ So, I'm not going to say this is the best chapter in terms of character development, 'cause I figure I'm gonna have to say it again soon. ^^;;

Nevertheless, I'd have to say that this chapter was really terrific--just as terrific as any other. I could almost hear Nakago's seiyuu (English, of course, 'cause I've only ever watched the Suzaku Warriors' parts in Japanese... I'm weird, ya see) saying his lines in here, he was so in character! And, as always, the stuff he said were all rather profound. I can sort of see why Watase-sensei likes him so much; he knows his stuff but doesn't take himself too seriously. (Did that even make sense? I just thought of that off the top of my head...) And dang, Keisuke was doing a pretty lousy job covering himself up. He'll have to say it sooner or later though, poor dearies...

Hmm... sorry if the review's a bit of a departure from tradition. xD But I really cared about Tetsuya's portion more than Keisuke's in this instance (you didn't fail to please when you mentioned he'll be busy soon, huh? *grins*), which I think is good though. Keisuke never needed character development, and Tetsuya deserves more love from us. ^^

So, yeah... good luck in the next chapters! :3

Update! w00t! I'm loving how this is going!

OmG... it's the chapter of love! Squee! *hugs the monitor* And it's not just love in its mushy best, it's love in all forms imaginable. And in here, it forms this frame: friendship creates family love, family love will save true love, true love will encourage friendship which will eventually blossom into true love. *stands back to admire what she's written* o_o Whoa... within a few days, I don't think I'll be able to understand what I just wrote, but I think I see it going in this direction.

Now, to Tetsuya's portion... yeah, I'd have to agree with you, this is one of the best scenes in the fic! In my opinion, this reform through love is even better than the heroic reform he had last chapter, which I believe is good for development. Since Yui said she wants to be normal again, I sense that she's stronger, she's more mature, but she's still afraid to love. I hope this'll turn into love someday, though! *fangirl moment*

That's about it for now... ta-ta! ^_~

2009-04-04 . chapter 12
Hi! ^^ Thank God you updated... I was dyin' to find out what happened. :D Anyway, I loved this chapter--it was full of suspense, but the humor could still be tasted. If I were at home right now I'd be laughing to myself... haha...

Wow, I think it's great how Keisuke suddenly met Suzaku! Didn't see that one coming, I thought he'd be in limbo like Miaka was when she stabbed herself. LOLz I like that pun... "holy crap"... haha XD

I also love how Tetsuya immediately corrected his mistakes by saving them this time, because the last time he tried to "save" them, it wasn't even in the right sense. It's a nice twist played on the term, I gotta hand it to you. :) And thus, Tasuki still manages to end up in the middle of a huge pool of water even though this ain't the original OVA... haha...

I really wish I could say more, but we're in an Internet cafe, can't take too long. I'll wait for the update next Saturday!

2009-03-30 . chapter 11
Hey, what happened? I stayed up late again last Saturday waiting for your update. :D Well, better late than never, I guess, so let's get on with the review.

^_^ This is one of my fave chappies too! I think it was played out really well. The flow of the story is natural, and the descriptions are great. It's almost like you just sprinkled some of your awesome author magic on the characters and they did their thing, which is good. ^^ Good authors are characterized by characters who move by themselves.

Let's get into the details... I love the chemistry between Houki and Keisuke. I know he's older, but for some reason, it's like Houki's his big sister in this scene, I don't know why... xD Hotohori's presence in the room was also great, it sort of added a little extra life to the conversation (ironic much? LOLz). Now that I think about it, Taka would also sound kinda cute attached to the prince (or maybe it's just another one of my fangirl urges). Keisuke isn't gonna die, though, is he? Nah, he's not. Haha I watch movies too much...

Now, let's go over to Tetsuya. (By the way, for some reason, I still imagine him traipsing around in some long purple robe appropriate for Suzuno Oosugi with both crown and shades on. XD) I think the part of the story that's focused on him is working out perfectly--he's going through some great, albeit subtle, character development, which is usually better than normal character development in my opinion. I absolutely love Suboshi's reform, too! He's got some pretty spiky speech up there... you just spewed up some things that are perfectly in-character, and it just all seems pretty great. Whatever the case, I think Suboshi just went up on my characters' rating list... haha...

I loved this chapter. Happy writing! And I'll wait for the next!

2009-03-22 . chapter 10
Waii! An update! ^_^ And here I thought you wouldn't put this up, I was up until one in the morning my time here, and yeah, part of the reason was waiting for this.

I thought I was gonna get bored reading only about Tetsuya's jaunts, but I actually enjoyed getting a bit more insight. And now it starts... for some reason, this role really does fit Tetsuya. I admire your ability to take a new concept and just integrate it with the characters, this always works for you. I think that I've been waiting for this turning point all along.

I love Chichiri and Mitsukake's entrance, it's a good touch to have introduced them in the same chapter. And, yay! Everyone has been found! That means we'll have bigger stuff coming on soon! But, back to Mitsukake: he rarely ever got any character development, so I was rather pleased with the effect when he got all mad. It was very subtle, but I could really taste his anger. Nice job! Oh, and I'm also pretty glad to have gotten past the cliffie... but you GOTTA press the fast forward button to next Saturday! I wanna see Hikou and Chichiri's reunion!

Kiotsukete. ^^

2009-03-14 . chapter 9
Hi! ^_^ I stayed up a bit late last night, I thought you weren't going to update. I actually like this chapter, maybe because of the appearance of my second-favorite Seishi. :) I love how he just popped out of nowhere and watched the guys bathe... XD And, I'd have to agree with you, I love the lines here. Tasuki really needs to get a hold of himself, doesn't he? ^^ LOLz Priestess of Suzaku's brother...

Poor Tetsuya, having to make justifications left and right. I see he's starting to doubt himself, and Hikou's raw retelling of his death wasn't doing him any good either. And after that conversation with Hikou, I've got a feeling that he'll go looking for Chichiri next, or else bump into him. Either way it's gonna be a treat. I wish it'd be him... will we get to see Yosui, by the way? :)

Waah... I love the sudden appearance of the demon thingy... the brief description of what happened actually made it seem a bit cute. ^_^ I kinda pity Taka though, not being able to talk to his friends... in that vein, I wish I could just skate over the week and go straight to Saturday, because these cliffhangers are really killing me. -_- I wish I could do cliffies like yours... I can't write in a cliffie to save a life; I tried to do that with my fic, no one even noiced I'd put in a cliffhanger.

Well, enough of all that talk about cliffies. I'm really, really looking forwardto the next chapter!

2009-03-07 . chapter 8
Kyaah! Best chapter in terms of comedy so far! x3 It's great how Tasuki's as insensitive, loud, and (for lack of a better word) slow as ever. ^^; In that vein, I really loved this line: "You're sure she's not just hot all the time?" Silly me, I interpreted that differently...

o_O Yeah, that's the best way for me to describe my expression when Ren and Miisu were doing... THAT. Incest... *shudders* Well, there goes that plot point I foresaw... I think. :D

Wow, they were pretty quick to recognize the little ball. I love how Tasuki treasured it because it was Tamahome's, by the way. :) And I really, really gotta love the wonders of cellphones! ^_^ They're so awesome... heehee, 'twas a genius touch to let Taka have the jewel right away. Glad to see he's involved somehow actively. And, one last thing: Like I said, best chapter in terms of comedy yet! Haha, I guess now Tasuki remembers burning Miaka's hair... XD

More power to you, and keep writing! Yay me for the first review spot!

2009-02-28 . chapter 7
Been a while since I watch Fushigi but sometimes, the great ones get better with age. I'm really liking this story so far.

It's good to see there are still active fans. And my favorite character just showed up. Yeah Gen-chan! Wonder if he'll join Keisuke, or just think he's nuts...maybe both.

I look forward to the next chapter, so keep up the Good work!

2009-02-28 . chapter 7
An update! Yay! *hugs the amazing Appaku*

Hmm... I love how communication through cellphones was still possible inside the book. Wonder why, though. ^_^ And I also wonder what sort of reunion took place between HotoHouki... :)

I don't know how, but the chemistry between Tetsuya, Renhou and Miisu was great! I'm a bit concerned for Tetsuya, though... poor thing doesn't know the Queen of Incest can't be trusted (were the dumplings drugged or something?). And who got away? (For some reason, I had just started wondering why I haven't seen Mitsukake yet.)

It's great how Taka caught on immediately with things! Even without knowing what went on in his life within the book, he still had the guts to pick the thing up and read it. It's nice to see him read it for once.

Glad to grab the first review spot again! ^_^ More power!

2009-02-25 . chapter 6
Well, finally, it's back up! I read this chapter late last week and would have left a review sooner, except that the site review and sign on feature decided to take a three day hiatus. *grumble*

Yay, Nyan Nyan to the rescue! Gotta love her, despite her little quirks. *grin* It was clever to use her ability to provide 'solidarity' in the way you did, and made perfect sense as Hotohori would know what to do.

At this point, Tetsuya feels the end (meeting Nakago) justifies the means (taking the stone away from Chiriko by trickery). You did a terrific job with subtly showing that as cool and level headed as he seems, Tetsuya has an emotional weakness that Tenkou knows how to exploit. Though there are no explosions of rage this time, one gets the sense that Tetsuya's self control may be fraying just a bit...

One small piece of concrit in this section- check the grammar and phrasing of this line:

"Wait! I hadn’t thought of all I was really capable of with this powers. Keisuke mentioned before how I couldn’t expect to do much when I met Nakago, but now, I could be capable of anything."

Read it aloud, and I think you'll see what needs to be fixed. ^^
Keisuke is extremely fortunate that His Majesty still has clout with his subjects after death. ^^ Great cliffie, too. I'm anxiously waiting to find out what could have happened to make Hotohori run...

Did I happen to mention that this is becoming my favorite story of yours? You're doing great, keep going!! :D

Every good wish,
KL

2009-02-21 . chapter 6
XD I love the chemistry between Keisuke and Hotohori. They just get along so well and all (*coughcough*sarcasm here*coughcough*). I really wanted to do a face-fault when Hotohori showed up and everyone went "AH! It's a ghost--oh, it's His Majesty!"

As for Tetsuya... shouldn't he have read enough of the book by now to see what vengeance and righteous anger did to Nakago and be sure not to let it happen to himself too? o_O No biggie, 'tis a mere thought. ^_^ Update soon, 'kay?

(First review for the new chapter! Squee!)

2009-02-21 . chapter 5
... and here you go again. :) It's a really great story so far--you really captured all of the characters' personalities and their voices, and everything you make them do is just executed perfectly. ^_^

I love Keisuke's bits the most... especially the entire fray in Houki's bedroom. XD Trust Hotohori to only think of Miaka when you refer to her... genius.

Well, that's about it for now. (I DID notice some errors here and there, but I don't feel as though I'm in any position to correct you or anything... LOLz) Continue writing this soon, and KUTGW! (Or something...)
