This was an awesome story. I really enjoy reading your writing. It is well-written and engaging, while keeping clear of unnecessary verbosity. And the ending made me cry out in joy...at work.

WONDERFUL work. The writing in particular, and definitely the characterization and fresh feel to it. I'm glad it was Sasuke's own decision not to perform seppuku. And the quote at the end wraps it up quite nicely. :)

three cheers for a narusasu ending! i like how this was written, although it was confusing from time to time. when sasuke saw the hiccy i thought hinata at first... it doesn't really matter who though, either way they're gonna get they're heart broken :( poor sai...

please, please, please God let the manga end like this (its supposed to have a shounen ai ending, or so they say.) that would be amazing! you're amazing! gah!, I love all your fics in general, but this is the second one to make me cry (the other was Parallels.) Anyways, genius, as always.

There aren't WORDS to describe how much I liked that, which isn't particularly useful to you so I will give it a try.. Sasuke playing Shogi..his interactions with his team, scowling at the lantern, drinking tea, throwing the kunai at the first shadow clone.. you wrote it all so well I could completely see it. Not a thing was out of place in this story, not characters or the settings or anything.
I like the quote too :)
