Aww!! This is absolutely amazing. I just finished re-reading New Moon, too. This is really great. I actually pictured it kind of like this. Rather than rush into each other's arms, they stand there, looking into each other's eyes, studying each other's features, making sure they're really there and that they're okay. ...Now that I've waxed sentimental all over the place, I should probably clean that up. :rummages around for a mop and bucket:
