I think you accidentally re-upped the wrong fic... This is Batman Light, not A Better Rest. Now I'll have to dig out my old copy of that fic to read it again.

Wow. That was stunning. Simply stunning. I loved the whole storyline, simply: A mutual friend murdered, but the whole flow of the story was smooth and seamless. I loved the dialogue, _ especially when Bruce speaks to Dick in ‘The Blue Oyster’. That picture was priceless...well, that and when Dick made Bruce blush about his suit.

And then the conclusion, poor Scott, what a way to go. Tragic, but the guilt Dick felt over it, knowing that Scott loved him and that he wasn’t capable of returning his feeling and that Bruce had figured out this was heartbreaking. This was such a good read! Definitely a keeper! Thanks for sharing.

Your description of Bruce was exactly how I pictured a 'Gay Bar' Batman action figure to look.

::chokes Not SCOTT! Scott was... he reminded me of this guy I know, Paul- ironically his best friend's name is Scott. I really connected to him as a character, and... well.. I cried at the end of this fic. I think that tells you enough.

A hug! A father/son moment! Yay!

Wow, this was really good. Everyone was in character, and the story was dramatic and emotional without being sappy or too angsty.

wow, very excellent, you've got a great story here. I loved the way you depicted the characters, although i thought Bruce was too fatherly. But you've got Dick down pretty good. Keep it up!

A delicate subject, the death of a gay friend, handled very sensitively. I'm sorry you killed Scott-I liked him in 'Changes'-but I think that you gave his death dignity. Loved Bruce in the gay bar with half the men eyeing him (only half?). And the Dick/Bruce scene at the end had me reaching for a tissue. You did it again-you made me cry!
