“The cake is a lie” looks vaguely familiar, but I can’t think of where I’ve seen it and I had no clue what it meant until I looked it up either. My first thought was, is that like “there is no spoon”?

Anyway, this fanfic isn’t LOL funny, but it is amusing in its irony. Gaz’s way of thinking is kind of like Zim’s. Not that she’s OOC, just the fact that she thinks she’s so great and can’t except the real reason why she was fired. I love the realistic consequences of Gaz's outbursts.

Damn, Dib is stuck in the same nursing home as Gaz and is still bringing her pizza? That sucks.

Another good one. It figures Gaz wouldn't see that it really was her fault that she lost her job and that she's all alone in her retirement home. There's just one thing- what does "The Cake Is A Lie" mean?

Well, this is certainly a realistic look of what would happen to Gaz (is she existed in the real world, of course, as opposed to the Zimiverse where Ms. Bitters can get a job teaching small children). Tying in a video game phrase to that was really clever. Good work.
