Awesome I love Jack's powers

Beautiful piece. I read it years ago after it was first posted either here or in another archive and it is perhaps even more poignant and powerful today than it was then. Since 9-1-1, Jack Hawksmoor stories carry even more sad connotations than they did originally. Thanks for this one. It serves as a reminder to us all about the real heroes.
