Like I said before, I really liked this nicely open ending and I think those last few lines comes off well. This fic has been so much fun to read :) looking forwards to the next one :)

Interesting, well-written fic, even though (or maybe because?) I didn't recognize the fairy tale. That's certainly no reflection on the quality of writing! Generally speaking, I'm not a fan of fics where one of the boys turns into something, but you portrayed each Winchester's trauma very well. Thanks for sharing!

I spent the first half of the story or so thinking Sam was still a deer and they were in the forest still because of the red worm. (Question is, does that mean Sam's got worms now?) It wasn't overwhelmingly clear but I actually prefered it that way, kept you guessing and really draws you into how Sam was feeling. Personally I think you could have drawn out the curse a little longer but than again you stayed closer to canon then most people care to in the sense that they resolved things as fast as possible.

I'd love to read more because this is just a brilliant story and I'm suggesting it to all my friends. You said this was a mix of Supernatural and a fairy tale, right? What fairy tale was it based off? Love to know more.

Whoa, not going to even pretend to have seen that coming! For a moment I was almost really angry, because despite the wonderful writing and style I thought this was going to be a cliche` creature story, did not see a deer coming..

Still absolutely love the transformation scene. Like you mentioned, these things tend to seem romantic in fairytales. Then I started thinking it terms of horror movies, but that all tends to be squishier, somehow. Not thought in terms of actual meat and bones. I love your sharp and brutal approach. The moment where his bones suddenly smash and the blood sprays everywhere... heartstopping.

Oh, and 'cause I'm obsessive; there's a 'back in forth' in the third paragraph that should be 'back and forth' :)

I don't know how you did it, but this chapter was simultaneously adorable and creepy. I mean, we got some adorable brotherly love and Sam turning into a fawn? It makes me want to hug him. (And secretly, a part of me just wants Sam to stay a fawn and be adorable that way forever and ever. But Dean and John probably wouldn't approve.)

But then again, the whole curse thing is very, very creepy. And all I want is for those silly Winchester boys to hold hands and frolic through fields together. Or whatever their equivalent is. Which might be, I dunno, doing research and target practice. Because they're a healthy family that way.

Haha. Okay, I can't wait for the next chapter. This story just has such a pretty, dreamy quality to it, while at the same time conveying a sense of danger and all that fun stuff. So gimme more! Please.
