it's wonderful how in the beginning you don't really know wat it's abotu and you think wedding but then you begin to suspect it's more and then you used toe word coffin.

"Her lips painted in a shade of red that she would never have worn." Perfect. I like the beginning, like the middle, and I like the ending. Most of all, I love how you tied the three together.

I was SO not expecting that. You caught me by surprise with the ending there.
This is a beautifully written story, short and to the point, with enough detail to make it sting when you realize what's going on. Very well done indeed! I like that you don't make it so obvious from the beginning as to what is going on. Keep up the great work!

Ah, the most fulfilling sort of read, and you know where I'm coming from with all my tragedy loving. I didn't even look to read who wrote this at first, and at the beginning, I was like, this isn't fluff? Which makes it so beautiful because you really do switch so well that it is shocking, and more painful to go from the happiness of a wedding to this sadness. Of course I should've known it was from such a great writer like you, even if I haven't seen anything from you in a while.

The real thing I really appreciated about this story, though, is the way you describe her that to Cloud (or whoever) she doesn't look like she's sleeping, as I believe people always just say to make you feel better. I personally hate it when people lie like that. It also reminded me of in my creative writing class there was a poem about how a woman was painted up to be something she wasn't in real life, with make up and what not. And going back over it now while I write this I realize the significance of the line about her painting her fingernails...it's chilling, and haunting details like that that make a story stand out. It's beautiful. That last line makes it that much more powerrful.
