I really like this story. Your writing style is pleasant and easy to get into, and I admit there where quite a few times where you almost had me crying...You portrayed the whole break down and the wanting someone you feel you can't get close to quite brilliantly. I look forward to seeing more of this story.

Whew! Finally got around to catching up and reviewing.

Since it feels like it's been forever, I decided to re-read the entire thing, so that the next chapter wouldn't feel so disjointed. And it was beautiful! ♥

I must say, I wanted to smack Roy when he showed up like that, asking to be taken back. But... the way they're conversation ended had me going "Aww." And I was jittery during the whole thing, wondering if Russel would show up and start kicking ass to avenge Ed's broken heart. :D He'd totally do that, I bet.

Fuck yeah for healing fights! Boy, what an oxymoron that is, huh? Still, I want Ed to tell Russel what happened like fucking -burning!- If he doesn't, I'mma be like, "BAWW." I don't know why, but I just really want it to happen.

So, anyways, yay for updates! You should totally keep them coming, so I can read them and gush to you about them in rambling reviews. Eventually, I'll probably re-read the whole story again, because I just do that with fics I love. Update, yes!? ♥ ♥ ♥

Thank you for an awesome read. I don't think I'll ever stop feeling sorry for Ed, and for every fanfic where he recovers and has a happy life after the story, there's five that are three times as good where he's broken inside without much hope of repair. It's so unfair after everything he went through.

I've never been a fan of Ed with... any of the pairings in this fic really, but they're so realistic! None of them work out perfectly, and Roy... I think this is the first fic I've seen where there is actually romantic RoyxEd and yet it doesn't work out. Thank you for that. Major points for originality and realism. I wouldn't put it past Roy to use him so heartlessly then leave him in the gutter. He probably wouldn't even notice how much Ed needed him. I guess I'm just a fan of realism, because I love how messed up Ed is about Russell too... and how even when it seems that things are going to work out, they're... not going to straight away. Friendship can so easily dissolve into other things, whether it's wanted or not.

Most of all though, I really want to praise you on your writing style. Usually, I notice 1st person fics straight away and generally dislike them, but it took me until Chapter 16 to even realise you were writing in Ed's POV! It was that good, that natural, that flowing. You blend seamlessly with Ed's thoughts to give us his outlook on the situation as well as fully let the reader know what's going on. There have been several lines that were just so powerful they knocked me off my feet, and I'm usually the kind of person to be so absorbed into a story that I don't even notice the writing unless it's bad. And this really, really wasn't. So really, well done. Can't believe this fic has so few reviews. Perhaps it's because of reviewers like one of the previous... who don't even bother reading on to find out what happens before flaming. I'm really sorry about that.

Really well done, and I'm definitely a convert to this pairing... at least in this story. xD Keep up the good work - I'll be waiting for the next update!

So he randomly has sex with Roy and Archer? WHAT? Don't you think that Ed has a LITTLE more self respect?! HE AND ROY ARE NOT PAIRED TOGETHER, DAMNIT. WHY CAN'T YOU FANGIRLS GET THAT IN YOUR HEAD?! He wasn't threatened with his brother, so WHY THE HELL DID HE DO THAT WITH ROY?! IT DOESN'T MAKE ANY DAMN SENSE!

Though, to be honest, at least you have grammer and spelling. That's what sets this apart from all the other RoyEd fics.
