Similtanously a pairing that doesn't and yet does. You present it well and make it work, nice touch being from Ozai's POV -

in my opinion, what makes a good writer is someone who can take the beloved characters that do NOT belong to us and put them through some tramatic experience. If someone is capable of making a character real while still keeping them "in character" while they go through hell and back, it will tell alot about the writer's ability, and i think you have mastered this in the terms of ozai and zuko.

So dark and so incredibly fantastic. You're an amazing writer ,and the transition Ozai went through during the rape scene was phenomenal. Zuko really is just like his mother, and Azula like her father. You captured his thoughts perfectly; it's just how I'd imagine them. The comparisons were spot on as well. Overall a very great, dramatic read. Well done!
