This was awesome. i like how you used quotes in the story line.

You are a great writer. It's such a simple scene and yet it's very powerful. For Gaara it's a big and important step forward.

I've also noticed that you took Dances with Shinobi down. Does this mean you won't be finishing it? That's too bad but it would be great if you could post those three chapters again. I really enjoyed them.

Aw Gaara is picking up on what it means to love and be loved. It's times like these that I'm so glad that Kishimoto gave Gaara a chance to live and change is way of life for the better; unlike all the other emotionally disturbed characters on the show who wanted love but ended up dying for nothing (Haku, Kimmimaro). I guess thats why everyone loves Gaara so much. He's a villan turn hero! ^_^
