I almost missed this wonderful story but I saw your name and I thought I love your stuff so please Please put Abby in the header or at least Gibbs so it pops up when people are just looking for one. Poor Abby had to be so very cold. Can't wait to read more. Write more soon. Hugs

She heard him sigh and stifled a chuckle." - I agree totally with Abby in her thinking that Bert can speak. That is one sentient hippopotamus, WITH the power of speech, IMO.

She heard the answering note of amusement in his voice" - Why would Gibbs be so diparaging of his own, IMO, quite skillful gut? It has never led him wrong yet.

They'd been talking about chick flicks, chocolate muffins and copious amounts of tequila when Gibbs had seen them last, leading to Tony complaining that he hadn't been invited and McGee wondering aloud if there'd be any pillow fights." - LOL, while going insane with curiosity at what McGee was wondering. But why would he wonder that? You going to tell us?
Gosh, I'm SO glad Abby made it. I would have been dreadful if she hadn't.
