oh, Martin. -shakes head- It's very, well, it's sort of like a paradox for me to read this and know what his fate is at the same time. Not everyone has a destiny? Depends on if you believe in destiny...but Martin certainly had one, imo. -is an unabashed Martin fangirl- ;]

Anyway, good fic. It had a lot of great emotion and ponderings. I just can't resist fics like this, exploring a character's thoughts, especially if those thoughts are tragic. Excellent work. The ending was especially well done. =] xx

I really like this (and, yeah, it's Martin, isn't it?) Martin always appeared to me to have the potential to be more of an anti-hero type of character. His "dark past" is hinted at in the game. I really like this piece because it develops the side of him that we all KNOW is there, but is normally not given any attention. Very clever, and well written too. I'm going to go and read your other stories now, if they are all as good as this!! :D

Obviously Martin, but when was this written? Durring the siege? And why is it always the adoring fan? I like the little guy, he makes me feel good.. he makes me feel all warm inside... why not punch a guard in the face? I'm sure they could take it like a man and know when you're kidding around, they always just wag their fingers at me.

Poor Martin-Pants. He's so emo. Him and his emo pants. He's just jealous that he can't have nice silk pants like Lucy-kins.

Can you punch the Adoring Fan anyways? Or better yet, punt him in the face? Do a little touchdown?

I'm glad someone has finally stepped up and made Martin the not so chivalrous priest he is, I have, and I love my haunted version of Martin! It's just so... supposed to be there.

This was a very good piece of literature, though I am not a fan of first person view X-D, this was very well-written.
