I hope you get a chance to read this. I really loved this story. I thought the dialogue was great and the simplicity of it really helped set the mood of the story to be nostalgic. Even if Randy and Trish didn't have a past on TV, we always have our RKO/Trish fandom stories which can be the nostalgia that this story reflects on. I dunno, that's just how I saw it. Either way it was great.

SO I stumbled upon this story, and all I have to say is WOW! The entire opening was ridiculously good. I feel so bad for both Trish and Randy. I can't wait to see where this story goes.

Why do I feel so bad for them both? How do you do that to me? Its one chapter! Chapter one, so there's no background, no chance for me to get attached and yet... I feel bad for her and him.

It seems his wife is 2nd best and not because its on purpose, but because the life he thought he'd have didn't come to fruition. So he moved on, sort of. And Trish, she definitely hasn't moved on, but after 2 years did she think Randy would still be waiting? Didn't anyone tell her or was she denying it in her head. Rumors sometimes are truth.

I already want them back together, but not at the expense of his baby. I'm torn!

This is such a great start to the story. I'm so glad you have actually decided to post it. I've missed reading your stories. I hope you can update again soon.

I am SO pleased you've posted this sweetie, because it is amazing. As many times as I've told you in the past, I shall tell you again. No-one writes a Randy/Trish pairing like you do. You just seem to have a knack for these two people, taking what we see on the screens each week (not for much longer for me, sob) and creating characters based on that. You give them your own twist, yet stay faithful to the characters we know. It's what makes them and you, great.

Onto the story. As opening chapters go, you totally knocked me for six on this one. The emotions are so vivid and real, even in these opening paragraphs that I'm just drawn in to see what happens next. I have to know what happened in the past, why aren't these people together, why is one seemingly better with it than the other? Questions, questions, questions and answers needed!

As always, you deliver and your writing is flawless. Great job sweetie, and I can't wait to see more on this story :)
