oh goodness i just found this fic and i just read it from the first chapter to the last. to be honest, i didn't really get development of feelings between troy and gabriella as well as i'd like. there seems to be a lot of layers to their problems and i love the complexity of their issues. i can't really tell if troy and gabriella's feelings of affection are genuine and are a result of loving each other as individuals rather than admiration of each other for being a good parent. and as cute as alex is, i love how realistic his reactions are. i felt my heart breaking for gabriella when he said he'd rather be with troy. ugh, SO GOOD! and i absolutely loved this line "It all makes her feel like a betraying, life-stealing bitch." i'm excited to see how you'll resolve gabriella (and troy)'s feelings of guilt for having the the family nikki was supposed to have and being happy. hope you update soon! :)
