Reviews for Clive, My Old Driving Instructor

I absolutely love it! You wrote in the same tone as written in the books, and that gave it a personal touch. I could imagine it as a back cover special! Great job!

.Goodness!

I bow down to your talent really I do!

That was just so incredibly well written that it could practically have fitted very nicely into one of the books.

It matched Sophie's style spot on!

I could picture the whole scene in my head and it was utterly hilarious.

I loved the bit about her choice of footwear for the driving. It reminds me of that bit in Shopaholic Takes Manhattan/Shopaholic Abroad when Becky tells Luke she's had her brand new clementine sandals for ages and they are actually her 'driving shoes'Lol

Aww, I too would be mourning my broken shoe Bex ;)

And the ending was a cracker.

'So, do I pass?'

Does she pass?

Oh My God!

*collapses in a fit of hysterics once more*

Brava my dear! I am definitely adding this to my favourites and will definitely be re-reading it in the future when I need a bit of cheering up.

And it can keep me going until Sophie hopefully brings out a new Shopaholic novel.

XxX

P.S I agree, it's such a lonely little section and more fics are definitely needed *hint hint*. The film was good, but NOTHING can ever top the books in my opinion.

Hahaha... good one! It's nice to know that there are people ( even if they're fictitious) who are worse than me. When I had to turn the car the first time I was driving, I accidently hit the accelerator, and just stopped the car from hitting a passing motorbike. God, it was bloody scary! :)

Haha!

When I read about Clive, her old driving instructor I was wondering about the story behind that!

And you deserve every single one of the reviews you got; great job recreating Becky! Very wonderfully written and 5 stars for originality as well staying true to the original series!

Loved it!

I thought it was pretty good. :) Though, the idea was a bit cliche to be quite honest, especially the last line. Also, there were some grammatical errors you might wanna look into. I'm no expert on that area either, but i find rereading eliminates most of these errors. Most importantly, Becky seemed a bit out of character. All that swearing for one thing and the way she called Clive, a "git". :P

All in all, your effort is commendable. and I'm glad you wrote this. Plus I absolutely agree with you; there should definitely be e-mails sent, to inform people about this category. XD

I thought it was okay. I love the humor and the obvious attempt in creating a Becky in your story. Though there were points that I did not feel her saying some of the lines. It just does not suit her. But all in all it was great! And I commend you for a good job. :) I have read and watched every Shopaholic Series and I must say, I know every character by the heart, if you do not mind me saying. God Bless :)
