I loved the simplicity of this oneshot, it was simple and interesting and I adored the different perspectives, especially Sirius because you showed him differently, and his whole story was different.

If this had been a whole story I'm sure I would have loved it, but it seems perfect as a oneshot.
I might even read it again; I really loved it xD

Great story! always good to see non-magical humans capable of doing such impossible feats, and i always wondered if there was a wizarding form of space program. (just a random thought of course.
And since it was the most unifying and greatest achievement in history, we seriously need to bring the Apollo program back.

Wow that was Awesome, I realize that I am reviewing kind of late compared to when you posted it but still, it is an awesome story.

I goofed up Armstrong's reading of the plaque, it actually goes like this"HERE MEN FROM THE PLANET EARTH FIRST SET FOOT UPON THE MOON, JULY 1969, A.D. WE CAME IN PEACE FOR ALL MANKIND." I got that out of the December 1969 edition of National Geographic Magazine.

The crew of Apollo 11 left a plaque on the moon that says"Here men from the planet Earth first set foot upon the moon, July, 1969 AD. We came in peace for all Mankind."

Nice! I loved how Severus thought the moon was made of cheese, and how James thought "little green men" lived on the moon! XD I thought Sirius's parens were both pureblood though? I might be mistaken... oh well, it was great! Nice work!

o, I really liked your story. It's creative and unusually. That night, the moon really did give mankind hope. Makes me kind of wish I had been alive then. And it showed the wizarding world that muggles can do whatever they set their mind to do. lol

lovely characterizations, especially Remus's...and a nice take on the moon landing in general, an event that is quite interesting culturally.

I remember being allowed to watch TV that day. I still, all these years later, can remember how I couldn't tear my eyes away from those grainy black and white images, and how I held my breath as Neil Armstrong moved from that final rung of the ladder onto the moon's surface. You brought back those wonderful memories with this piece, and I especially liked Remus' perspective on it. I'm tempted to borrow your final line for my sigfile! It's wonderful!

So it was cheesy. Hee hee, I made a pun.:coughs Anywho, it was sweet, even if I am having cavities form as I write this. There's nothing wrong with a little fluff every once in a while. I have to admit, I like Cassius...even if he was just there for a moment...but then again, I'm obsessed with Caius Cassius from Shakespeare's Caesar, so I'm not the best person to ask.
