Oh this is lovely! Its just awesome! I actually signed up here for Danielle stories, and this is the ONLY one I can find! So lucky me it is such a sweet, enjoyable one. And Hurley being one of my favourites too, I'm just psyched that it takes place between the two of them. I loved that scene where he gave her the big hug - I just imagined him squashing her with the force of his adorability. (I also remember Sawyer saying "Watch the ribs!" when Hurley hugged him!)

You say this is Chapter 1? Well I will look forward to the next part then Personally, I would LOVE them to have a baby, a darling little girl to make up a little bit for losing Alex. But whatever you write, if its as good as this, I will love it. Thanks!

I can't believe that this story hasn't received any comments so far. I guess I'll just be the first, then.

First off, this has to be one of the most unusual pairings I've seen for this fandom, but you've executed it perfectly and made it seem entirely possible. The story itself is beautiful, not only for the way it's written, but for the way you've handled Hurley. Most of the fics I've read, in which he is involved in romance, have him act as if he's a kindergartner in a man's body: too nervous even to kiss anyone, and if he does, blushing like a fool. I have a sneaking suspicion that this trend is because of his looks, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that you didn't shy away from that. In that way, I've written him much the same in my Hurley/Libby stuff, and not being the only one feels nice!

You've made me want to finish my one-shot Libby/Danielle fic that's been sitting unfinished...maybe I'll actually do it!
