All the one shots I read nowadays seem to need to be more than just a one-shot. This included. I love this story and I beg of you to make it more than just a one-shot.

That was bittersweet enough to make me want to cry. Naturally Kenshin would never want to put Kaoru in danger, least of all reveal to the world she was his weakness, but the bittersweet romantic tone just tugged at my heart. I do love the ending, sad but tinted with the hope of a brighter future. Happy endings aren't always sappy, they just leave a sense of hope. Your fic certainly did!

Nice, in one of those "this seems to be a piece of something bigger" kind of ways.

You've got a couple wrong words"mourning" should be "morning" and "donned" should be "dawned")but your style is flowing and easy to read. The piece evokes a nice feeling at the end, even though it's quite possible that this story may not turn out happy in its future. Good thing we can't see the future.)

wow u had me scared for i min. i though it was one of those kenshin cheating on kaoru fics lol...but i was surpise great story i like it maybe u could countine it sometime
