'Musta? I've just finished reading the latest of the manga, and went straight fic hunting. You whole series stole the afternoon I was intending to dedicate to work. I can't quite remember that last time I've been this addicted to fanfiction.

nicely done; heavy and depressing but very well written. you filled in the gaps of the ending of the anime nicely i think. and about abel's accent, it does kinda have a British ring to it now that you mention it, but it still has an American accent as well; i think so anyway.

A very nice final chapter. I like the hints about what you're planning in the future and it's nice to see Alessandro starting to stand up to the idiot. Great ending, my favorite part had to be the Pope standing behind Esther's decision and winning the argument with his brother. Having him quote the bible like Francesco always was does was classic. I can't wait to see what you have in store for him! Oh yea, I'm a history nerd too!

I always pictured Esther in your stories as 17 like in canon. So if I go by your A/N your saying that she is 19 or 20. Not that I have a problem with that, just trying to understand it.

Loved this ending. I like the thought process you gave Abel in the last section, when he was walking in the country, hair and robes billowing in the wind (which made it look cool ;D) and passing Ion. In the anime, he jsut has his convo. with Ion and then there's staring into space with pretty music. I always wondered what Abel would've been thinking, and you hit the mark as usual. =D

This was awesome. Funny, thing really I was just thinking about this story on the way home. You can go into how in the beginning of the Catholic Church priests were allowed to marry, at least thats what I heard on a documentary on the history channel. Hey, strange question but I gotta appease the crack coupling fan in me. Are you going to do any future interaction between Alec and Vanessa?
