Holy crap, you actually updated! *in a state of severe shock* I had been checking this thing on a regular basis (checked it last night, as matter of fact) and I was going to e-mail you in a few days if you hadn't posted the newest chapter yet. And I was filled with the horror that you would reply, "It's over. I've given up on it." So then I was going to have to cyber smack you.

But you updated! And you, you, you haven't given up on it! *sobs of happy joy* I have a very good suggestion: Update the next chapter quick and we will forgive you just as quickly.

Anyway, wonderful chapter. Iris quite reminded me of Mel Gibson from The Patriot, hacking away at Westing's body like that...very disturbing, thanks. _

The only complaint I have about this beautifully constructed chapter is that it's not quite long enough. That and: "She remembers him perfectly, from his lithe, evil, skulking disposition to his scrawny, emaciated leopard dæmon." Shouldn't that be remembered so it doesn't switch tenses?

Ah well, doesn't really matter in the least, because I seriously adore this story so much, and you updating is one of the happiest moments of my summer. So: thank you! You really don't know how much this means to me.

Ah. Don't feel too bad- you've updated your fic, which is more than I've managed to do. Most of the older authors seem slacker, especially during the school year. I dunno how Ceres manages it- even I can't keep up with fanfiction like I used to, and I'm still younger than most.

Anyrate, the story is excellent. What a rush... I was pulled into Iris's hatrid so completely my breathing quickened... wow. Good story to read if you're angry or stressed- it's as much a release as physical violence but legal. Took me a bit to find the plot again, but it wasn't impossible. Nice to see ya around... but it's not like I've been here either.

Poor Tobias... Poor all of them... Please update soon, I really like this story.

I'm seriously going to have to read this entire thing over again to figure out what's going on. Good chappy though. Kudos to ya :)

I've been waiting for this chapter for a while now...please update again quickly, this story really grabs me and makes me want to read more. You haven't really lost that many fans...if they really liked the story they'll read and review again.
