So...many...feels...! I've been binging on all your YYK stories over the past few days, and they're all wonderful. I love how you have fairly consistent canon across the H/K stories and related them to one another. And the feeeeeeeeels! Of this story especially. I'm going all incoherent over it, because you did such an extraordinary job of character development that I honestly felt like a douche for even considering wanting Kurama back. Shuichi is expressed beautifully.

I don't know whether to hug you or to kill you. My own conclusion is that Kurama loves Hiei so much that he inhabited Shuichi's body again, no matter how strongly he felt about being split from him. But now, he's letting Shuichi take the reins, which is as much of a split he can manage.

I read this whole story in one sitting. I can not even begin to describe how much I've loved this. The characters are spot on, the way you wrote Hiei and Shuichi broke my heart. I found myself unable to tear away. Now I'm not sure whether I like Hiei with Kurama or this human Shuichi more. I'm sure I'm going to come back and read this again, and leave a more coherent review than this... anyway, kudos to you.

I read this story once quite a while ago, but just read it again. I could write a whole book on what I thought of this story - what I think happened, what I wished happened, how amazing your writing is, but I don't think I could fit it in 10000 characters haha. Anyway, I really enjoyed it, and I look forward to reading more of your writing :)

I dont usually read shonen ai, but this was a good one. I mean it was one of those type of stories I like; where its pretty much up to the reader that is it romantic or not.

The chapter was good at setting up the mystery, and the writing style was fluid. I would have liked some more visual description of the mysterious stranger. His clothing, his demeanor, etc. Otherwise definitely a solid lead in.

This story was awesome. Throughout the last few chapters I kept having this feeling like Kurama was going to come back at the last minute and when he didn't it kind of made me sad, but I do feel happy for Shuichi. I'm really amazed at how you were able to distinct Shuichi from Kurama and make them two different people yet at the same time have so many similarities, but because they were once a part of each other. I expected to get confused along the way. Surprisingly enough I kept up. Also, I must say, irrelevant to the story, that I learned new vocabulary words from you. Great story! Keep writing more!

Yeah, uh, seconding all of the other reviewers! This was good, like, really really good. Although the ending made me gasp; I don't know, I just wasn't expecting it. Great story. Shuichi's character is fleshed out very well and although he's like Kurama, he's not - and the distinction shows. I hope to see more from you!
