Not bad, but it's not amazing either. It has great promise though.

There are a few things you could use to help;

Explain how the Autobots know about humans. If this is pre-movie, then they shouldn't even know about the existence of humans, let alone what human young look like. They also shouldn't have a concept of 'years'. In TF continuities, they use Orn, Vorn, etc.

I suggest you look up a bit on TF-lore and look at the logic. Bringing logic into a story is what separates plain good-ics from really great fics.

That was cool! I can't wait to find out what's in store for Prowl's son. I do have one ? for you. Why the name Astro? I understand that it was Prowl's late fathers' name, but that sounds kind of odd for a child.

It's good so far. It started to read like the prequel book from the first live action movie. I can't believe that Prime would make Prowl take some time off. That's very rare, even for Prowl.

i'm not saying its bad but don't you think it would've been more interesting if the kid had rather been a cybertronian? its a good start.
