I like it, but I agree with you. This second installment is missing something, and I think it's the romance aspect. It may need a bit more hints to it. However, I understand why it's so downplayed. The two never thought of each other in that light until Lavi decided to hook them up with the tale of Beauty and the Beast (Which is by the way, genius!).

I hope that you will one day add another piece to this...maybe with Komui's reaction to the situation (that will be funny XD).

This tis special. It wasn't that bad of a second chapter, so you don't have to worry about it too much. I liked it for the most part, and the only thing is, i'm sure that Lavi would have memorized just about all of the books in the library seeing as he's the bookkeeper and can remember the tiniest details. anyway. good fic.
