I was willing to read a fanfic that claimed it would have a lot of spelling errors. If it was good, I was going to offer to beta it. But I couldn't bring myself to read any further when you had Twilight of all things listed as something Will Stanton's bookshelf. My own fandom wank about Twilight aside, there is no way that a teenage boy, let alone our teenage boy, would be reading Twilight. Just not going to happen. Taking our boys out of canon is fine, but changing their personalities that much? The little things count a ton in Susan Cooper's originals, so they should count in the fic. I'm totally willing to give any of your future fiction a shot, but please keep our characters who they are. The concept was interesting though, I must say. I'm always pro a little Will crushing on Bran.

I applaud your enthusiasm, but, um, Will and Bran don't talk like they're from London and it's in the 1960's. So, no Twilight, no Pendragon, no Artemis Fowl, no Nickelback, no VURT jackets.

I admit it, your story was fun, but if you're going to completely ignore canon could you please state that first?
