Oh, I love it! Lorne's reaction was great, not incredulous or embarrassed at all. His vow to protect Rodney for Jennifer was very sweet too.

Very nice.

I especially liked the detail at the beginning of Rodney checking his weapon. It is little details like that which can really make a story.
