What that it? This was funny... How about making little one shot drabbles about rei seeing kai doing things he would do out in the open... it's just for rei to see or accidently. You can make some of them based on their friendship or even about them together. Like one can be about them going on a date and while on the date, Kai gets really excited about a certain ride at the amusment park...(The dreaded Merry go round.) Or one can be about rei getting sick and Kai actually becomes really protective over him after his caring ide comes out... I dk.. you don't have to but i like your stories so that's why i suggested the drabbles...^^ And if you want, i can even get you some ideas for them...but that if you want to do the idea i had... Well have a nice day..
