In all seriousness this story is great. I have to say, I still strongly dislike Nina according to how she played out in canon, but can truthfully say that if this conversation had happened in the actual series it would go incredibly far in me feeling a sense of peace about where her character was headed. Even if I couldn't forgive her at the series' end, this scene would make me believe that she would become someone whom I could.

It's short, but it doesn't feel like that detracted from the story to me. Kallen and Nina don't need two paragraphs of narrative exposition to flesh out their views on each other halfway between each sentence they say. A few simple words of greeting, encoragement, and forgiveness were all they really needed and you brought it to life nicely. I also like that you used the wedding as a backdrop, but did an elegant job of not making it central to the little corner of life where this story played out.

I really wish that this scene happened in the actual series, and would like to think it did. It would bring a smile to my face as well.
