Hey sweetie
No lord know's I'm not much a fan of Dark Ace/Cyclonis. But then again, I'm not a DN fan either and you swept me under the couch of total revelation with that one.
Point I'm trying to make? This. Was. PWNOME (a pwnerific version of awesome I just invented, see).
See, we need you around more often.
Anyways. I liked this from so many angles. There was angst. And I loved looking at it from Dark Ace's perspective, just to remind us that there is still human in there. And like to think he got bullied into his position, like how you put it, it wasn't completely his wish to get sucked into the evil. Like I mentioned, it reminded me of Zaknafein and younger Drizzt (you'll understand when you read it). And I love the whole protective, loving side of him.
And you continue to nail the character's personality's like you're the William Tell of the english langauge. In a few simple words, you do what the rest of us go on for paragraphs to try and do, and that is get the characters and their complex, deep, raw feelings across. Seriously. You're Lark was so believeable it was like, pshaw, yeah right, like you don't own Storm Hawks. Pu-lease.
Anyways great work, but what else is new? I'm goign to have to check out Egg now, you know that, right? Thanks alot. Now I'm going to die of pwnome over dose.

I have to say, you never fail to leave vivid images in my mind. From the picture of a frail white hand enclosed by a tan, calloused one, to a pale Lark staring out into a fiery horizon, it all appeared in my mind while reading this.
It, quite frankly, left me astounded.
