Haseo The Terror of Death 2009-12-24 . chapter 3When I first saw this I was going to only read one chapter, but then I was sucked into it fast. Being a guy, it pains me to say I almost cried over Ron's agony and despair. The story was perfect, there were no flaws whatsoever. The cliff-hanger ending is beautiful; it makes me really want to know what happened. Like, did they make up or does she turn him down? |
Lonestarr 2009-09-04 . chapter 3I don't know what to say about this story. It's dramatic, yet humorous, depressing, yet hopeful...and I greatly enjoyed it.
What you've done with the characters is impressive. They've been fleshed out like I don't think I've seen before.
While I'm not sure that the Possible ladies would've fallen apart quite that much, this is a fine piece of fanfiction. |
 rye.bread 2009-06-23 . chapter 1Wade a voyeur? Ron a player? Realistic, I guess--just a little heartbreaking--as heartbreaking as Kim and Ron not working out.
As you said in your answer to my review of “Souless” a couple years ago--I also like the happy sappy stuff. On the one hand, you really nailed the characterizations of “the boys”. it’s sort of like that at high school reunions. The old clique walls have been outgrown, and a camaraderie now exists--if only for the night of the reunion. On the other hand, the idea of Kim and Ron just becoming another stillborn romance is almost too much to endure. I can almost buy the idea of my own marriage sinking--which it did--than the prospect of the unlikely fairytale romance failing. I’ve grown fond of the Disney odd couples--Phil Diffy and Keely Teslow --Micky and Minnie Mouse--Donald and Daisy Duck. And I know it’s absolutely contrary to real-life, but I ask myself, why can’t the magic--or blessing--or whatever word you want to use--carry over to Kim and Ron. Or even like Ron’s folks? But you hooked me with the “to be continued”--even though your story is classified as complete.. All right--I’ll bite. I’m staying tuned. |
the grey mage 2009-04-13 . chapter 3this is so depressing. |
 Silvermist35 2009-03-15 . chapter 3SS,
I really liked this story. You did a really good job of telling it. I hope you start a new one on the tail of this one. Thanks for a great read!!
Thanks,

Thomas Linquist 2009-03-13 . chapter 3See, all it took was for Ron to get into a good fight!
In all seriousness though, I think that we have the chance for a beginning indeed. The only question is just how stubborn these two are going to be.
On the other hand, if Kim sees her mother come out of her semi-catatonic state because of Ron...
Good thought with the license plate, btw. |
Katsumara 2009-03-09 . chapter 3Great finale to this wonderful story. I'm glad Ron and the gang kicked those guys' tails. Such cruelty there.
As far as the rest goes.. it is great to see Mrs. Dr.P come out of her funk slightly and offer to eat. Maybe the thought of Ron coming back to make Kim truly happy is something that'd perk her up.
Ron just has a bad way with words and timing, I think. If he hadn't screamed out it just then, I'm sure they would have at least talked. Stupid Ron, but it's all fixed somewhat at the end with the open door inviting Ron in. It's good to see that he's taking that chance.
Keep up the great work! I hope maybe there's an epilogue in our future? |
Tenchi Knight 2009-03-09 . chapter 3I love it. I absolutely love it. I was sitting here reading it and dancing in my chair as I saw Mrs. Dr. P come back and did a mock numa-numa dance when Ron made his choice. That was a great story! Sure, it was a downer at first but then at the end with the pull-up, it's like a jet heading for the ground and pulling a high-G save at the last moment and it's a beautiful thing! Thank you so much for writing this!

bigherb81 2009-03-09 . chapter 3Glad to see those crazy kids finally decided to get their heads out of their asses (it couldn't have been good for their necks). Sometimes all it takes is nosey (yet concerned) friends and copious amounts of booze. Glad he made the right choice and didn't stay in 'dick mode'. Great job on this one. |
Joe Stoppinghem 2009-03-08 . chapter 3It's scary I knew what the plate said the second time I read it.
The End?!
What you mean the end?
Don't leave us hanging like this! We have to hear it from your words what happens, if they will work things out or not.
No fair, no soda for you.
I'd normally say thanks, but you've still got some explaining to do. |
screaming phoenix 2009-03-08 . chapter 3Powerful stuff SS just powerful,l in the application and in the delivery; talk about laying it on the line with no hope of retreat. The fight was probably just what Ron needed to get the frustration levels down to manageable levels. The confession was brilliant the declaration of love sincere, and Kim’s reaction heartbreaking.
Maybe just maybe they will get it right this time. All hail Monique the queen of slapping sense into some idiots that desperately need it! |
kp83 2009-03-08 . chapter 3Great story, I was really drawn in with all the emotion and drama. I think that you could expand the story line with a second story...maybe starting where Ron walks in the open door and then going from there with Kim and Ron working things out between them. Im sure it would be well recieved!! Thanks! |
The Enduring Man-Child 2009-03-08 . chapter 3Once again keeping it gritty and real. This ain't Disney's Kim Possible.
I hope they can work everything out. And poor Mrs. Dr. P.!
Eagerly awaiting more. |
Sentinel103 2009-03-08 . chapter 3S S talk about crappy communications. They do take the cake don't they. I wonder if Kimbo realises that Ron and her happyiness may have something to do with Anne's mental state.
Well I hope the best for these two.
Thanks,
Larry (Sentinel 103) |
CajunBear73 2009-03-08 . chapter 3Very angsty ending to this one, but an opening of promise, maybe?
After that fight to 'let it all out' with some of GJ's finest (loved the Bob's quip of Fascists Incorporated.), Ron was able to be less explosive and more drunkenly, introspective at the reunion. Speaking of GJ I bet Du and Kim have such a crappy professional history nowadays.
Looks like you may have the same 'open door' as Ron to continue this path of a story thread. We'll see, huh?
Happy, Happy for ya!
