Agree. But, I'm a lil' confused. So, just November and December are in the future, right? The rest is all in a row, no years skipped, yes? That was good, I just noticed something about Brownie Pants. Oh well. Maybe you meant points, idk.
Again, thanks for another awesome Quogan-licious SQUUEEEEEish happy gigglin fic.
Okay, didn't get to review this night before last like I said I would. P But I am FINALLY reviewing it now! YAY! (But oh my God, I had like over half of this typed yesterday, and guess what I did ... I accidentally logged it off. Wasn't that bright of me? P
July I'm graduating high school in a couple of months, so I know how Quinn feels. I'm not going to go far away to college, but it's still daunting. Time for the real adult world.
But her dad is awesome. Like I said about Logan's mom Heather, everybody should have a parent like Stephen. Oh and isn't Erin's father an accountant too?
Haha, glad that Stephen approves of Logan, but he would "treat him the same way as a pinata" if he ever hurt his little girl. Stephen, I don't think you'll have to worry about anything!-D
August Okay, this is another one of my favorites. I love the messaging to each other, they miss each other so much! Why? 'Cause they Luve each other! Lol.-D
Oh I love this when Quinn was thinking about getting contacts, and Logan's like, "NO! You're not allowed to get contacts. You're sexy the way you are Um, EEP!-D-D-D
And double 'EEP!', at Logan's "subtle" proposal. Then he gets all teasing, "Oh you know you so wanna be my wife". Well Logan, we all know that you so wanna be her husband! And I too, love Logan's little "condition" that he makes.-D
Quinn and Logan going out to dance in the rain is every Quogan's fangirl fantasy. Such a lovely fantasy, lol.-D
Then when they finally reunite, it was so funny that even though they were right there in front of each other, they were STILL texting each other, lol. But of course they stopped, and the long awaited kissing commenced in front of all the people at the airport, while "Kiss Me" played in the background. Much metaphorical, fangirl melting is going on right now.-D-D-D
Oh, and let's not forget ... Heather and Malcom reunited! YAY! I've got to tell ya, the way you write them, I've got a new 'ship emerging. And Malcom's mother seemed like a total bitch, but she so knew what she was doing! "Gabberflasted" Logan's reaction, I loved it, and Amy's comment too! "That's right Uncle Malcom! You defend your woman!" Lol!
That was one of the most favorite things I ever read. "Meather". "Halcom". Whatever, like I said after reading this, I've got a bit of a new 'ship emerging, lol!
September Lindsey is great. I'm glad Quinn got an awesome roommate and a new friend too. Haha, and Quinn's genus made her professor cry? Well, it's no surprise, Quinn is definitely a genius. And Logan is frustrating and endearing, and if I were Quinn and had a boyfriend like Logan, my stomach too, would feel like "many butterflies flouncing around after bursting out of their cocoons". Lovely, lovely.
October LOL! I just love the silly, back and forth Quogan banter! He's irritated, she's irritated. But yet he still wants to make-out, and really ... she does too.-D I LOVE it!
November ANOTHER favorite here, lovely, lovely, LOVELY. Finally, the proposal and then wedding. Ah and this was flash forwarded in time from September a bit too.
Erika, I'm really having a hard time finding words for this one. It's indescribably good, such LOADS of beautiful Quogan love, from Logan proposing to a poor sick Quinn, to a nervous Logan waiting at the alter for a radiant bride that was Quinn. Then the friends/couples were so cute ... and pregnant, lol! I could literally quote EVERY SINGLE WORD of this section, seriously, every word. This is every Quogan fangirl's dream, and more! Lol! I wish I could say more, but this is one of my most favorite things I've ever read, even though it's just a section of a story that is all together my favorite. This is like an extraordinary one-shot in itself. I have no words. I'm just a supremely joyous, crazy happy yet serene feeling fangirl right now. Absolutely grand.
December Addie is SOO CUTE! PRECIOUS! (And I love her name: Addison Marie. How pretty!) This is yet another section where I could quote everything. Her letter is just insanely precious, but major LoL of what she did to Liam.
He was buggin' her, "But Daddy told me not to kick him in the 'no-no' area ... And apple juice sort of looks like tinkle, right?
Oh my gosh, that grand little stunt she pulled sounds like she's a LOT like her father, with her mischievous little scheming, lol (also like Quinn too. Hm, could this be another Quogan in the making, lol After all, like Quogan, they are "secret friends"!
Trying to "make Mr. Chauncey laugh, but he never does". HAHA! I love picturing that, and good Lord, that man has to be ancient now!
And she has such a big heart, for her Nana Heather and Grampa Malcom, Grampa Steve, Grandma Terri, her Mommy's patients in the hospital. Heck, even little Liam, who she asks Santa to give another Mighty Man "doll thing" to. (That's the Quinn in her too. Her heart is that big that she can still care about a little jerk like Liam, as Quinn did about Logan. AW!'There's always one sight that makes Quinn feel like the luckiest person in the world: seeing Addie's face brighten up when she sees Logan in the doorway, and running into Logan's waiting arms."I missed you Daddy."I missed you too munchkin.'Walking to greet her husband in a kiss, Quinn has everything she could possible ask for.'Year after year, she's grateful to watch her family and her life blossom into something beautiful.
And that's the end of your extraordinary, masterpiece of a Quogan story for Quogan Day. This is another must-read for every Quogan fan, anybody who's a Quogan fan HAS TO read this. This is just ... gah! All of the mental images that your magnificent writing here brought up were just too, too fantastic and lovely. Anymore Quogan you come up with, without a doubt in the world, I WILL READ IT! Quogan and your writing ROCKS! WHOO-HOO! (I'm a nut, lol!-Haley
FINALLY I'm reviewing this! Erika, this is just superb, glowing with Quogan loveliness. I liked the old version, but I do agree that the new version is better.
January This was probably one of my most favorite months. Poor, poor Quinn! She supposed to be celebrating big birthday number eighteen, but she doesn't feel much like celebrating because poor Otis died. When she leaves the festivities, Logan goes looking for her and finds her, and him being the soulmate to Quinn he is, he knows something is wrong. Not in just that he can tell in the way she acts, but he actually knows why she's upset. It was funny when after he tried to get her to talk to him, he finally brings up that he knew Otis "kicked the bucket". That is such a Logan-esque thing to do, but he knows what he's doing. But it's so sweet, that he cares about and loves her so much, and is worried about her, that even though he's awkward when it comes to comforting someone in tears, he'll always make an exception for Quinn. He lets her cry on his shirt, and he doesn't think it's silly that she's doing so over an alpaca. Seriously, this was one of the most touching and bittersweet things I've ever read, every detail and moment (I'd end up quoting every bit of Quogan dialogue and moment here, they're so good). Logan is showing his love for Quinn and compassion as a human being in-general in such a touching, genuine way all the while being totally in-character. I just love Logan/Quogan moments like these, they get to me every time.
Oh and at the beginning I love all of Quinn's gifts from everybody, and also the fact that Logan and Lola put aside their differences for Quinn's birthday and also in her time of loss.
February Once again, red is definitely Logan's color, simple as that (wore so much red in season four, as did Quinn it seems...). Ha, he's not so into Valentine's Day because it exploits his favorite color, how funny (as is Coco's festive attire). But how sweet, naughty Quogan Valentine's Day making-out is just so squee-worthy, and Quinn asked Logan this time, or suggested it in her special Flirtacious Quinn way that Logan can't resist. He loves it (Logan smirking at her innuendo is so adorable), he loves her (need I say more?), and I'm loving Quogan and the February scenario here. Just makes me grin and giggle like an idiot!-D
March Another favorite, and more hot, amusing, silly jealous Quogan. LOVE it! I love jealous Quogan, it always makes me laugh and squee at the same time. Quinn got partnered up with Finkle-loser (lol), that of course make Logan jealous so he decides to "prove a point(and works, Quinn has to admit) and partners up with Amelia, whose beauty is a totally opposites of Quinn's (Like Logan cares. He prefers Quinn's unique beauty any day). Yep, Quinn and Logan, definitely a couple of jealous nuts (healthy jealous nuts), and nuts for each other and I love it.
Quinn"You really don't know how impossible you are Logan.
Logan raises his eyebrow with a smirk starting to grow on his face, "And you're quite hot yourself.
Quinn"Don't charm your way out of this." Logan"Is it working?"Yes," Quinn replies, with slight irritation before Logan uses a hand to stroke her cheek before totally and completely submitting to the sensation of Logan's warm lips over hers. Wrapping her arms around his neck, she kisses him back before pulling away. She laughs, seeing that his lips are slightly sparkly with her lipgloss and runs her thumb over his bottom lip gently. "I guess I do exhibit jealous tendencies.
Logan"Well, on the upside, I could look at you all day in green.
Major squeeing is going on right now.-D-D-D
April Heather's back! Yay! She is awesome. I love her letter to Logan. It was very humorous (major lol about Logan as a toddler using his pesa as hair mousse, the style ending up as a green Mohawk, and the flowers with the roots still attached that he picked for "Mommy's Day". Seriously, how cute is that!) and bittersweet (that was so sad about Heather losing her and Malcom's first child, and how she blamed herself for it and she wasn't supposed to be able to have children anyway, but then surprise, surprise ... Logan came along.). Ah, and Heather knows as well as the rest of us that Logan and Quinn are meant to be, she's basically already regards Quinn as a daughter in-law. (I also like knowing a bit about Logan's heritage, he does seem like he has Irish in him with his temper, and Italian with his dark coloring. Although I would have thought Malcom to be Italian actually, but whatever.) Haha, Heather won't be like a certain interfering grandmother eh? Hehe, wait four more months and see how things with that interfering grandmother and Malcom go down.-D
Then the party and presents for Logan from everybody is awesome (Lola's really was too funny, lol), hehe, especially Quinn's. Only Quinn could pull that off, especially for her lucky Logan (the "Logester", lol).
May Logan is simply one of the most amusing, endearing characters I've ever seen (and read, thanks to you and other great writers). Ha, "Looks shouldn't really matter" eh? How cute. And all the while throughout the fun, adorably amusing bantering about hair mousse, Chase's hair, making out like it's a burden to "be nice", and all the lovely Quogan love circulating here, Logan is just trying to find out what Quinn's prom dress is going to be like. Simply ADORABLE. Another one of my favorite months of All Year Round.
June Logan, Logan, Logan. Always trying to forever be the tough guy with no real soft spots, other than Quinn. Ha, everything is "stupid" when it comes to stuff like the PCA yearbook, but he realizes that this is it. After the school year is over, no more crazy but wonderful days at PCA. I love that Logan can be sentimental, that these things do matter to him ... arguing with Michael and making stupid but "legitimate" bets with Dustin"Rabbits will adapt to guacamole if not salsa", lol , and that he actually sort of likes he, Chase, and Michael's "Super Secret Dude Swear". I just love all three of those guys, they will never cease to be adorable, endearingly amusing goof-balls. Logan's so gonna miss PCA, and he's nervous about graduating, but he's going to Berkeley and his parents are so proud of him, and he has his wonderful Quinn that loves and is proud of him, so I think he's going to be just fine. Yep, I'm proud of him too.-D
Wow, LONG review eh? Hehe, I just couldn't help it. The magic of Quogan, your imagination, and your writing is always love and will never cease to make my day. What more to say, than there is a second chapter of brilliant writing and Quogan love that I must review!-Haley-
Awesome job Erika, just totally awesome. I enjoyed it thoroughly, definately better than the old one. Quogan is so totally awesome! My favourite is definately March, where they totally make each other jealous. Jealous Quinn is cool. But I'm glad they realized they both are jealous, and both love each other.
Nice job Erika. BTW, I know you live in Canada, Ontario in fact. Do you go to York University, because you were talking about going back to school after the strike and all. Just curious, you don't have to answer me. I just wanna know.
