...did I hear the word continue? Let me tell you a secret: Writing is good. We like writing. Writing is an important part of every writer's day. Updates are good. We like updates. Updates are an important part of every reader's day. Deleting, postponing, and ending are BAD (unless the ending is after a solid, 15+ chapter story, or just a really really good one-shot that had no thoughts of continuation in the first place- which we still think should get a sequel for being so good). So, what have we learned, class? "Continuations: good. Endings: bad." Good job, class! Take a cookie. ^_^

I really like this. Matt's trying to convince himself that life-is-better-damnit without Mello... but he can't, and it's those little trip that get him every time.

I loved the little addition of Near's response too; other than being perfect, it really showed all the impacts from Mello leaving, and just how deep seated his was in everyone's thoughts.

The last paragraph made me shiver. That was great.

So yeah, definatly keep going! Please? =3

Oh poor Matty! I really like it though. I like how he goes from trying to convince himself with all the bad things to remembering all the good things. It's so sad and sweet. You did well, even if you DID make Matt angst on his birthday xD
