Well done, SlvrSoleAlchmst1, you're the only contest fic I got on time (3 minutes to spare, lucky you).

When I first realized you'd done a CG/DN cross, I was like... screw my homework, I'm gonna read this NOW. I liked it; it's very different from the kinds of stories our contests usually produce, so it was pretty refreshing. I do like Hal/Gino, and I think you should write that... although I have to say, when Hal mentioned Cornelia, I thought Hal worked for her, and that seemed to fit really well.

Oh Near, my love/hate relationship with you continues. I think you do a really good job of portraying Near in that he has his own viewpoint from Britannia and isn't afraid to use/be a part of it in some ways, and how he just manipulates the crap out of people and doesn't care, but I disagree that he works solely for justice. If he's like L, he chooses the cases he works on because it'd be fun or interesting. *thinks* Unless you wrote it like Near was simply TELLING them he works for justice, but he really doesn't care and that's why he's actually going to track down Zero...

At any rate, a good story, fulfilling all the criteria (Gino and Godzilla) with a really refreshing perspective. (And do surrender to writing Gino/Hal... remember how our contests are supposed to force us to keep on writing? If ideas spring out of those, then we're doing something right here. XD)

Yay. That was excellent. The premise was a little confusing at first, but it ended up making sense. And as soon as there was mention of Zino near Near's block city, I *knew* Godzilla was there soon. Funny, cute, and very original, methinks.

Great story, but it makes me sad. Not just the state the world has fallen into, but also... the falling apart of a team. :(
