You have certainly given Diego lots to think about. Fate obviously intended Don Carlos to die by Bishop's hand. One can't help but wonder if Bishop would have been brought to justice had Zorro not interfered. Diego also gets a new perspective on his relationship with Victoria, perhaps also as Fate intends.

All in all an interesting little story.

I feel like we're nearing the end. It's bittersweet, because obviously this kind of storyline can't go on very long without becoming boring, but there are other characters who haven't yet tried their hand at getting their butts kicked by Bishop yet. In any case, I'm looking forward to the next chapter. :)

I think I would like to see a chapter where Diego figures everything he does will get erased anyway, so he doesn't worry about his secret identity. I think because this is such a "heavy" story in a way a little levity would be a nice balance. I am always pleased to see the update notice for this story in my e-mail. Nice work as always.

Oh, MAN! Poor Mendoza. I think you would have enjoyed me gasp and exclaim "Oh no!" When I read 'that someone was Sergeant Mendoza.' My roommate certainly thought I was crazy...

When is Diego (not Zorro) going to take the brunt of Bishop's anger? That might be fun. But everything you write in this story is fun, so I'm sure whatever plot twist you come up with next will be delightful.

I can't believe Diego didn't think about the possibility of being captured, but I suppose he was too worried about everyone around him dying... I wonder what will be the final solution (assuming that this chapter wasn't it). I hope you'll update soon, because it is a great story!

Yeah, that whole login weirdness WAS rather annoying...anywho... Nice chapter. I was so totally not expecting Felipe to buy it this time. I like authors who can keep me guessing. A well written update!

This is awesome. I was a little frustrated with the first chapter because I sat down to read fanfiction for just a few minutes, and I was totally bummed I wound up with a downer. In any case, great work and I can't wait for the next chapter. :)
