Thank you, for this brilliant analysis of Spike. I've been dying, honestly, for a nice, pretty summary of his relationship with Buffy in season 6, and you did it! And, when I say 'nice and pretty', you know I mean, 'brutally honest and ugly truths' right? :D I thought you did...

So, yes, thank you, again. I just... you wrote it remarkably in character, which is hard to do for Spike when he's being nice (you know what I mean) and this is exactly it! You want to know the best part? I only just became a Buffy fan a few weeks ago... really, I missed out on the rage earlier, so I was talked into it and, like all good fangirls, went for Spike because he is the best sodding character out of the lot of them! Really! Anyone who watched the show can tell you that, not even Angel was a as layered as poor Spike, I mean he has SO many issues and that makes him so... bloody wonderful for being as good as he is.

So, just... lovely, brilliant, fantastic... all those other words that mean 'great job!'. I really appreciate that you took the time to write this and put it up on , a site which has lost a considerable amount of its reputation... I'm always happily surprised that form time to time I find true gems, like this. Bravo.
