I have to give you major credit for weaving one story so well through three different ones, and not only that, but tying two completely different games together.

I loved Dimo Nor's little comment there. He's always seemed to be a bit of a rabble rouser, so to have him interrupt the story with that was amusing to me.

Sometimes I feel as frustrated as the rest of your caravan at Khetala's unshared knowledge. I want to know too! :(

Great story!

I love your mythological allusions. They always seem to add a little more supernatural depth and a sense of history to the FFCC universe outside that of Mio and Raem, particularly when you tie it in so neatly with your other short stories.

An ominous note arises from Khetala's brooding at the end there - I see the threads weaving together. Poor Aeris, that she has to overcome such a horrible fear. Beautifully written as always, I really enjoyed this one :)
