Hmmm. Everyone seems to think this fic is new! But really it came out December of 2000. I remember reviewing it and sending you an email. Well it was good then, and it is good now. I would have liked to see where this one was going. Of all your fics I read, this is the one I sent a review on. It was interesting to see you stir in some angst. Are you going to continue this fic? Or did you just put this here so you would know for sure there was a hard copy out there. (there's one at . /pub/archive/anime-fan-works/Evangelion If you aren't going to continue this, it would be nice to tell all these folks not to get their hopes up, and so I don't get mine up for nothing as well.(

Heh. I've been reading your Eva fics ever since the good old days of SDAT, and I've been waiting a long time to see somehting like this happen.

Not a bad start. Shinji is unbearably annoying in this with all his complaining about how everyone is only using him. I can understand it, but don't let it get out of hand, as it is, he can't seem to carry a conversation without going back to that issue. And don't take the online friends thing too far. It's a unique idea, and it's certainly a new way for Shinji to be more confident with himself, just don't let it take you too far from the story. Anyway, you're an old school author so you probably know this better than I do. I liked how Asuka seemed to tie Shnji hanging himself in with her mother, and so it hurt her. I guess the Touji incident is as good a reason to hang himself as any. I was afraid you'd make him try to kill himself because Asuka took his batteries. (Oh, cruel world!) A pretty good start. Just avoid all the cliche landmines don't make Shinji overly suicidal or bitter towards everyone around him and this could turn out pretty well. Keep it up!
