rika195 3/7/07 . chapter 2wow! this is really a pretty deep story! I hope you continue it, cause I like it a lot. Mimi should learn to be there for Joe instead of execting so much from him and not paying back. I hope she learns her lesson, cause from what I am reading, you could do a lot with this story. It's written really well, and it's intriguing! I hope you continue it, cause it's going on my favs and alerts!
Thanks so much! |
 Ismini 5/24/02 . chapter 2Very nice.
What I liked most is that you've captured the spirit of the kind of the relationship they would have. Jyou would be able to offer her security she would need because of the kind of life she's used to, and she would be able to cheer him up and encourage him. No relationship is perfect, though, and it is a nice idea to deal with.
People may find that plot boring. I find the search of the roots of their relationship interesting, mainly because I've never seen a fanfic to deal with the Jyou and Mimi's relationship after the wedding in a serious way.
I don't think Jyou would ever throw Mimi, or anyone for that matter, out of the house. He is understanding of everyone, even if Mimi went too far that time. He did give her the car and the money, though, so I guess it's as realistic as you could manage... I can see Mimi having affairs with other men, really. She needs attention, as you said, but if she had a problem with their relationship, she would tell Jyou face-to-face. Anyway, the way you put it is believable enough too, I guess, and it helps with the plot, so keep it that way.
I think Jyou would seek understanding in Yamato or Koushirou. You chose Koushirou here, have it that way. Mimi, though, I do not think would seek comfort in Yamato. Yamato can be cold when it comes to these things, and they were not particularly close, so... the kind of person to comfort her would be Jyou (does not work for this fanfic but just thought I'd mention him) and Sora. Yamato and Mimi's different characters, combined with Yamato and Jyou's closeness, can make for an interesting result, though... in this case, the phone conversation.
I do not know where the fanfic is aiming, but I like how it's turned out so far. Continue it! |
