Sometimes I don't think Vala can see past the final date, and just go with the flow of Daniel. All Daniel's kind words and wanting to finally be with her has thrown her off her quest for a date. I think it's the date over Daniel's place that it really registers that, yeah he cancelled, but for a better deal. hehehe :D
